Description
The TURNADO bits represent a new generation of snaffles. The joint has been angled 45° forwards to ensure even pressure distribution and avoid palate pressure. The bit arms of conventional single-jointed bits are of different lengths for manufacturing reasons, which always exerts slightly more pressure on one side. You avoid this problem of uneven pressure distribution by using a TURNADO bit. It is also suitable for horses with slight tongue problems.
The rotation is marked by a lightly roughened surface (sandblasting) of the mouthpiece in the middle area of the bit.
The fixed side pieces of this bit enable direct transmission of the rein aid to the tongue and lower jaw of the horse. In addition they protect the sensitive corners of the mouth and frame the horse slightly laterally. The bit lies particularly quietly in the mouth.
